Isabella Montani


Isabella Montani, a Senior Associate in SierraConstellation Partners’ Houston office, is responsible for business development as well as assisting with operational and financial advisory services to both under-performing companies and companies in transition.

As part of one of her assignments at SCP, she supported the financial advising to an independent oil & gas producer with $100 million in RBL loans. She assisted with vendor issues as well as with financial reporting for the lender.

Prior to SCP, Isabella was a Senior Associate at Endeavor-Miami. It was the first U.S. affiliate of Endeavor, a global non-profit organization, that has advised and helped scale more than 800 high-impact companies in 26 countries. In this role, she led and developed new and strategic partnerships with MBA programs, law firms, management consulting firms, branding agencies and organizations like Facebook. Isabella was responsible for managing a portfolio of 7 companies where she designed, developed and managed all aspects of assembling and managing advisory boards, facilitated new market penetration, developed strategic roadmaps, and ran talent programs through partnerships with Bain & Co., Harvard, and Stanford. Prior to Endeavor, Isabella was an analyst for the Tablet Quality Engineering division at Dell Computers.

Isabella earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas in Austin and, a Certificate in Business Foundations, from the McCombs School of Business. She is bilingual (English & Spanish).

She is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Business Development Association.

Notable Assignments

  • Supported the financial advising to an independent oil & gas producer with $100 million in RBL loans. Helped management with significant vendor issues as well as with weekly financial reporting (13-week cash flow, wind-down budget and cash variance) for the lender.
  • Worked in an engagement that consisted in advising separate bank syndicates with over $200 million in combined reserve base lending loans (RBL). Helped with delivery of set of recommendations to Agent to resolve complex loan forbearance, cash-control and settlement issues.
  • Supported the Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors process for a hotel booking company. Collected, recovered and maximized the remaining company assets to distribute the remaining funds to creditors.
  • Performed detailed due diligence and crafted multiple business plans & strategic roadmaps for companies in a range of industries (i.e. eCommerce, Construction, Cloud Computing, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Food & Beverage).
